Well, you don’t need to skip a meal or just keep eating ‘diet’ food.

A typical slice of thin or medium-crust pizza is usually six inches across. That’s the right portion size for a meal.
Stick to plain slices and veggie toppings. Avoid toppings like pepperoni or sausage that add lots of extra grease.
Pasta
A healthy serving of pasta with a rich, creamy sauce is actually only a cup and a half. Restaurant usually serve two to three times that, so share the dish with friends.
Order a soup or salad for a more rounded meal.
Salad
The salads you get at fancy places taste great, but they aren’t always the healthiest. You probably know that the chicken toppings are fried. Also try not to dump all that dressing all over it.
These salads are usually enough for two, so just eat half, take the rest home.

Burgers should be made with four ounces of meat. Since restaurants serve all different sizes, it can be hard to judge if you have the right portion.
